Aircooled,
I Don't know if Kodak Transfer paper is wax transfer or not.
Printing the white can be a problem with ordinary printers but high quality photo printers solve the problem.
There's no way it pulls off once you apply 3-4 coats of clear and let it dry properly.

Ii have used decal paper before in other issues. Works great. There is a place on the net that has the best for rendering good art from a decent printer. It is white based and mat finish. I take some of my art, I'm a self published artist, and put it on lots of things easily. You can search for The decal paper store. I used the wet slip from another company, but if you have a good printer or really good art or a photo, it will run on the paper as it is printed. That kind the ink just sits on top and then you have to use a spray sealer. The other I like you don't have to use a spray sealer unless you are using it outside, and the ink embeds in the paper.
