Tribal Flames

Is laying out Tribal Flames anything like flames? I want to try it on my truck, we are doing it all in primer so it won't be too costly. If I can ask too, what does anyone use for flat black primer?

Tribal flames are basically traditional flames with a few "reverse" flames and "spear tips" on the ends.

You can go to your local automotive paint store and have them make you up a black enamel with the proper flattening agent to make it a flat black.
