SORRY TO SEEM NAIVE GUYS,BUT.
WHAT IS A QUART? IN PAINT VOLUME TERMS?
IN NEW ZEALAND WE MEASURE IN LITRES
1 LITRE[LTR] IS 1000 MILLITRES[MLS]
ONE CAR PANEL TAKES USUALLY 150-250 MLS OF BASECOAT COLOR TO COVER.

1 quart and .946 liter are the same thing. So if you need 150-200 mls, this would equate to about approx. 7 ounces (just less than 1/2 a pint) to cover a panel which seems to be the average I would use.

1 ounce = 28.41 mls
1 pint = 0.473 mls
1 quart = 0.946 mls

A little too early to be thinking this hard.
