I have someone how wants me to paint some flames on his bike
with some color change SPRAY PAINT like i used on my helmet.(it was pretty
scratched so i repainted the whole thing) Is there any way to do this with
out sanding the whole tank and fender? He really loves the paint but does
not want to pay for the automotive paint cause it too expencive(witch i
agree)

I would apperciate the advise

The only way I could see you doing the flames with spray can (or through the gun for the matter), is to tape of the flames, *then* sand where the flames are. This might leave quite an edge though once you spray the flames, but this would keep you from sanding the complete tank.

Of course I really wouldn't recommend using spray can since it does not have any type of hardner in it, and it's basically just for giving something color without looking for durablility out of the paint.

Hopefully I answered your question.
