looking at getting just a 3000 rp

well i can only scrounge the cash up to buy one sata so i thinks its gunna be the rp. my question is does it atomize metallics and is it good for base coats as this will be my everyday gun in the bodyshop

I think that will work fine for both. I used the same gun for quite a few years.
I would try to get a 1.4-1.5 tip to use for both.

fyi. I used to use a 1.7 for both the base and clear, but I turned down the fluid nozzle for the base.
