Dear All,
What is the best polish for finishing off a wet sanding and buffing process?
Silly me!!! In a quest to perfect my shine, I bought NXT Gen Tech Wax online from TCP Global.
Started wondering about my choice and contacted Brian Hann, surface Care Specialist at Meguiar’s Inc. Brian quickly pointed out...” No you cannot use NXT Tech Wax in a body shop environment or on fresh paint.“ Was advised would have to wait 90 days before applying the product so that my paint can properly cure.
Currently, for polishing fresh paint after it has cured for 24 hours and I have finished the wet sanding, I start off with G3 Fericia compound using a rotary machine and finish off by hand with Presta Chroma Swirl Remover. I can get these products easily from the local shops here in Zambia.
I have no complaints about the G3 stuff. It has worked wonders (apart from the messy clean up afterwards)! But for the Presta Chroma Swirl Remover, I get the feeling there might be a better product out there.
This time around I have done a little home work on the net. I have come up with a list of 3 products which are SAFE for fresh paint and I can also buy online from TCP Global.
Here goes:-
Regards,
Victor
