gettin ready to layout some flames over hok sg100 anyone have any experience in wearing rubber gloves to keep from leaving fingerprint oils on sg100 or should i not worry about it? thanks

Hi. I'm new to the site but thought I'd throw my 2 cents in.

I wear gloves from the time I use the wax/grease remover onward. I figure it's safer for the piece and for me.

Also, from experience, it's really easy to not see that fingerprint, and to miss it when you're cleaning, until it's buried under clear.

i wear the rubber gloves when airbrushing, but when striping, i use cotton gloves b/c they seem to slide along easier :)

I use cotton gloves when Im sanding primer and Nitrle rubber gloves when Im spraying uros, for my protection as well as the substrate's protection as Isocyanates can be absorbed through the skin. I buy mine from Harbor Freight by the 100 pair box, they are dirt cheap. AL
