I am brand new to this board and have some experience in spraying proceedures and have sprayed on numerous occaisions.My problem lies here in the fact I haven't done any custom paint and need to locate some proceedures on prep,set-up,finish.I'm basiclly looking for something,a website, maybe that has a step by step guide to walk through the prep and paint of a bike.
I have a 2001 bike that I am customising and want to do all the work myself.I have the tools.Gun,compressors,airbrushes, and ability.I will be adding plastic molded parts I made myself out of Black Flexar and a few steel brackets and shields.I have colors picked out but need to know what else there should be.Like plastic adhesives,any flexable materials to be added and where is the fine line between too much clearcoat and just right.I want it to be DEEP.I will be spraying over the origional paint on all the bolt ons and the frame is to remain black.
I know the basics,just need to know specifics now.
