I filled some groves on my plastic saddlebag doors with a hard plastic filler, but there a few pin holes and low spots that I need to fill. For something that small, will I be ok using a normal body filler?

You can use that if that's all the bodywork you are going to do. If you plan on more, you might want to buy some flowable putty (5824)
If you just plan on using the body filler, mix up a small amount and use a razor blade to apply the filler

Looks like you did a great job! Congrats!
You're right...hard to take good pics of 'candy'. The camera only seems to take the pics 'to the red' and not actually through it. (if that makes sense).
