Greetings and happy holydays,
Just recently a friend of mine gave me an Aztek airbrush with about 5 different tips ranging from fine line to high flow acrylic. He says he's had it sitting in a drawer for about 5 years and never got around to using it.
Does anyone know how safe it is to shoot auto paints(urethanes)through this type of airbrush. The exterior is plastic and its very light in weight.
One of Jon Kosmoskys'books mentions the Aztek airbrush so I'm assuming it is urethane safe.Has anyone had any personal experience with it.Any info would be truly appreciated. Keep spraying

I have an Aztek, and I don't really like it. Its supposed to be made out of some sort of solvent proof plastic, so I suppose you could shoot urethanes with it. I've only shot Createx through it and it sucks because the paint needs to be thinned a lot. Also its hard to clean and gets clogged up easily. I would get an Iwata if I were you.
