Are you talking about matching or just painting? If painting its really not much diff than 2-stage, just an x-tra stage

Does any one have any tips for shooting a 3 stage colr. Base coat , Pearl, Clear? First time shooting this type from DUPONT.

Thanks for the info, just wanted to know if there were any drawbacks. It will be for an entire color change and not just a spot repair.

Be carefull that your top-coat is applied evenly, or it will change colors through out the job!
I should have said your pearl-coat I guess, If you put 2 coats in one area and 3 in another it won't look right, it's translucent, but each coat builds up the pigment, but unless you go crazy in one area it will be really hard to see a diff.
