On spot painting---
If you have access to a paint mixing system, you have the ability to tint the color so you have the best possible color matches, whereas,if you don't have the luxury to your own mixing system, and you plan on doing a "panel spot job" you will need to blend into the adjacent panel(s). You will need to prep the panel(s) so you can blend into the adjacent panel, then clear the complete panel(s).

This tip will save you alot of aggrevation from trying to panel paint a color in which you do not have the ability to tint, thus giving you an unacceptable color match.

When in doubt, blend it out!
