When wetsanding the sides of fenders, like Fatboy fenders, Heritage, Road King... go ahead and just sand back and forth normal, but when you get close to being done, take your paper and do the sides in a circular motion. This will 'cut' the straight sand scratches, tus making it easier and nicer to buff.
