A great way to take care of minor chips or minor fish eyes is to build up the areas higher than the rest of the surface by brush touching these areas, then you will need to block down the areas with 1500 wet paper, then buff, and polish.
This works great on most cases like solid colors (red, black, white...) and also fisheyes in clear. Does not work good for metallics. If it is a fisheye in clear, touch up with catalyzed clear, not the base color.
