Tight flames

Want real tight flames? Be sure and use 3M's 1/16" tape. On a car/trcuk, 1/8" will work fine.

Be sure and mask up the "ovals" as soon as you are done with flaming the parts. This will help keep the tape from "pulling".

I usually do the front fender completely, then the rear fender, then do the tank(s).

What are the oval's?

The oval is the 180 turn you make between the flame licks.The licks are the long thin section coming off the main body that turns into the tips.
