As you know Kandy Base Coats are a mixture of Kandy and select Pearls into a SHIMRIN2. I've seen House of Kolor's color shapes at http://www.houseofkolor.com/Shimrin2/Shimrin2series.jsp

From the formulas it looks like they either use a metallic with the kandy or a pearl with the kandy. What I'm wondering is can you make a kandy basecoat that has both a metallic and a pearl. And if so how much pearl can you use without loosing any metallic effect.

Shimrim2 paints are 8 to 1 ratio of transnebule and kandy. Then you add half a part of metallic or half a part of pearl. Could you add both like 1 part of FX where half of it is metallic and half of it is the pearl or should you do something like 1/2 metallic 1/4 of a part pearl...

The following video suggest that you can do it and that it works really well with Kandy but they do not mention how much to use:

Any ideas?
