Not sure if I put up pics of my 89 Softail Custom (bought it new, now it's an antique). I took it out of a 2 year slumber, put new tires, battery, fluids, gaskets, solo seat on it. Just HAD TO paint it as well. Stripped off the old Candy Cobalt blue, with flames, paint, and shot it in Candy Tangerine, then since I've been in a 60's style Lace mood, I shot some in Candy Root Beer, in panels. Just to do something a bit different, I did the console in Tangerine, then taped off a panel, taped off some flames on it, and shot the background with some acetylene soot from my torch. Unmasked and clearcoated it. I really love the effect! Looks almost 3D. it's been a long time since I did one like this, but I hope to do more.
