old newbie

nice to see the new board. Was on the old one long time back, forgot my name and pw :sillyme:

Been ab'ing for awhile, on and off 20+ yrs. Starting over with a new gun. Have been practicing craig fraser's flames and developing my own style too.
This place is where I finally found templates for tradition old school flames, (thanks) Bad to be raised in a body shop and know how to paint a hotrod and can't draw a single lick. Though I can draw, flames were not my good points.
Any how, love big trucks, vws and the color purple.
Looking forard to more reading.
As soon as I get the proper paints, will post some pics and let me know if I got it or not. Thanks guys :goodbye:

don't know if this would be the right place to post my first official flame work, but here it is anyway~ not a speedster bike, but this is what hubby will use for a better gas saver to and from work during dry days. Am trying to learn the fraser fire and gave this a whirl too, hoping hubby can do me some free advertising since no one else in our town does abing.
