nova dashboard wet sand and buff??

hey guys i sprayed my dads novas dashboard with a ppg jade green mettalic and then cleard it but it has alot of orange peel what steps in exact form should i follow to wetsand and buff it thanks

Josh,

Assuming that you sprayed it with a spray gun, and that you have enough clear on it, and that you have the windshield out...you can do the following.

Use either 2000 or 1500 grit paper. If it has a good amount of orange peel, use the 1500, if it's minimal, use 2000

Wetsand that until there are no shiny spots.

Then you can run a buffer over the the dash with some 3M 5936 compound.

You can use some hand glaze after this.

If it has alot of orange peel, you may want to even 1000 grit the dash, then just reclear, THEN wetsand with 2000 and buff.
