Newbie questions ?

Hey Guys ,New to Forums ,When it comes To HOC paint what is the difference between Reducers and thinners, and is the Activater refered to as that or does it have other names like Accelerator,is it used in all Urethane paint as well,and why does some of the Clear coats,like the UC-1 say for outside the US only, Thanks for the Info Rick

I assumed you were PM'd.

Anyway, basically they do the same thing except thinners are usually for the old lacquers and the newer paints require reducers.

Both of them 'thin' out the paint and clears

Thanks Taz.Whats PM'd ? The reason is im going to try to Paint my Harley This Fall,thought id give a shot,for the price to get it done ,I figured i could screw up alot,,i have done some Air brush Work but only used Lacquers.I appreciate, the info,Im sure ill have other questions along the Way. Thanks Rick
