New guy with brush questions.

I just got new brushes (mack sword striper 1, 0, 00) is there anything I need to know? I read some where on the net, a guy dips his in motor oil after cleaning. Is this normal what do you guys do.
Any thing else you think I should know?
I'm all ears.

i clean my brushes in the ruducer of the paint i used. don't use harsh paint cleaning chemicals b/c it'll make the hairs of your brush brittle and hard and.....

some people use mineral spirits to keep the hairs conditiond. mack sells some stuff. that's what i use. just let the brush soak in the stuff. as soon as you get it, soak it in the suff, then rinse it before you use it w/ the reducer.

Motor oil is a bit harsh Try baby oil { tip Kafka brush oil smells really good !]
