Hi there!
I stumbled upon this forum and liked what i saw :bigokay:. I learned to spraypaint in school but never got around doing this proffesionally. I recently got into pinstriping and love it! Airbrush will be my next step. I work as a mechanic to pay my bills but after 5 i'm the local bikefixer. I also restore old japanese bikes and try to stripe them as good as i can.

Nice to find this forum!

Welcome to the world of painting!

I think on the old Japanese bikes you are talking about, you can just 'paint' the stripes on.
Doing it backwards. Painting the stripe color first, then applying the appropriate width tape to cover that area while you spray the rest of the area.
Or unless they do actually require hand pinstriping.

Anyway.....welcome and enjoy!
