New guy, dumb question

I'm very new to painting and I'm trying to work my way up to auto body painting. I bought a harbor freight cheapo gun and got comfortable with it, so I bought a cheapo harbor freight automotive kit that comes with a mini-detail gun. My question is: are there specific paints for the mini detail? Or do you just thin the paint more? It comes with a 1.0mm tip.

I use pretty much the same paints as a regular gun. Includes base, candies, pearls, clears, interclear....
I normally reduce the paint just a tad bit more than a normal sized gun
