This material is normally added to your clear coat,to obtain the desired sheen from flat to satin. It was thought that you could not sand it if you got some dust particles in it. Well not true. Color sand it with 2000 grit to remove the dirt bunnies. Now just mist your tank or whatever with the same reducer that was use in the clear to begin with. Let it flash off and it will bring your satin or flat finish to what you started with, and no dust particles in your finish. But you can definately not buff it,then again why would you. What ever you do don't wax it either. Cause it ain't gonna be flat or satin any more. The secret is to MIST on the reducer, don't pound it on as it will flash off and give you a mottled finish with streaks in it.
