Enamel Buffing

I need to buff a 1985 Porsche with the original Paint. The paint is in fantastic condition, but the owner would like to buff out the oxidation and spider webbing that has accumulated over time. He would like a show quality shine (very gloss like). The car is strictly enamel. No clear of any kind. The paint is thin, and could only be buffed to a certain extent.

What do you think? What process would you use to get a gloss shine with minimal risk of cutting the paint.

As well, what equipment would you use. Pads, etc.

Thanks!

i just did an original paint gremlin for a guy.used a black 3m pad and frecla g10.do a test somewhere low and out of the way . if it looks good continue.the real trick is not going to far.go light(just enough to get off the oxidation)finish up with a good quality wax. mc guiers has some good product.when buffing stay away from any hard edges.do them by hand.good luck.cyas
