Did I do the right thing?

I had done some airbrushing in the past for friends, mostly axes and drum kits. I had always used canned air but that got to expensive so I had put away and forgot about my brush. Recently I bought a 2 galon oilless compressor with moisture drain, it's made by mechanix. I have the hose adapter that came with my brush. Will this work or did I pick up an expensive tire filler?

You can use just about any air source that will give you a constant pressure of about 35 to 40 lbs. SSo you should be in good shape.

Guru, you might want to get some type of inline moisture filter. I used one of those compressors years ago at home and if memory serves me right if it was humid the thing would pump water out the line. Good Luck!

Thanks for the replies people. I definetly will try to find a moisture filter for this compressor as that was a concern when I bought it. Thanks again
