Compare painted color to final color

If you are painting a basecoat and you need to compare next to a painted part to see how close it is, once the basecoat is dry (normally about 2-4 minutes), you can pour some DX330 over it. This will give the basecoat enough "gloss" for you to compare the painted part next to the part you need to match.

just as Taz suggested to pour DX 330 over the base coat. I use this wax and grease remover all the time. For those of you that don't know, DX 330 is about the least aggressive of all of them. Good tip Taz.

Thanks all!
I pretty much use that tip every day. Be sure and look at your test panel / match panel at all angles and different lighting conditions.

Thanks TAZ! its a nice information you have shared with us. I was really unaware of this. Next i'll remember your tips while painting. Thanks again.
