Color Suggestions?

I'm planning on painting some flames on a '72 Camaro. The car is Hugger Orange, and has a black vinyl top. It seems like this combination is limiting my choices for flame colors. I have an idea in mind, but I would like to hear what others may suggest. Thanks.

Just some ideas.

1--Paint the flames with a gold pearl. This would give it a "ghost" effect over the orange.

2--Silver faded to a red (tips)

3--yellow faded to a red

4--White to a yellow to violet tips

5-- Silver to a charcoal with burn't orange tips. Then put approx a 1/8" border around the complete flames in a burn't orange. Possibly use a white pearl to accent (shading) the inside of the "ovals" -- my favorite

Depends on how much you really want them to stand out.
