I stumbled across an alternative to paying $40+ for a pint of One-shot hardner(like I'm gonna live long enough to go through a pint of that stuff 8 drops at a time....). I was in the paint section at Farm & Fleet one day when I saw 8 oz cans of Valspar enamel hardner for less than $9.00. Gave it a try on a few test panels and really hosed the clear on. Held up just fine with no cracking or blisters. I've used it on several jobs since with no problems.

I've noticed that most paint stores cary hardners from various manufacturers so it shouldn't be too tough to find.

Another 30 bucks in the beer fund... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

Great tip, And your right.I have used these hardeners when painting my Massey Ferg. and Ford tractors. Hardner is hardner when it comes to enamel paint.
