Been working on and off on this car for about 5-6 years. Spent too much time in upholstery, then at a stereo shop, exhaust place, etc. Finished up the paint, after all others were done with it. Just thought I'd put up some pics to inspire you all!
Nosed, decked, shaved handles. Lucas headlights, hand made 1/2" square tube grill, hand made tail lights to match the Lucas lights. Custom made trim in back to mimic the front grill. Huge back up lights removed, and rear license plate frenched in, and exhaust run through rear pan. Hand formed hood scoops, with tiny square grills. Grill made for front bumper openings. Tunneled antenna.
Original 394 engine and trans, cleaned, detailed, and some chroming done. Hand made air filter, to match the body shape, and grill opening. AC, PS, PW added. White R & P interior, with customized dash, and hand made, electrically opening console. "Coat of Chromed" interior trim (looks like chrome, but it's paint!) T-Bird bucket seats.
Mildly lowered, power disc brakes added, 53 Buick Skylark real wire wheels, and wide white radial tires. Suspension and brakes all rebuilt.
Paint is House of Kolor Candy Pagan Gold. Sprayed over a pure Orion Silver base on the body, and a lightly darkened base on the roof, and body cove. Maroon pinstriping by Anthony White in the interior and engine compartment.
All work, except chrome and upholstery, done by my shop.
